Spring Family Festival
Come out to our festival for food, games, and tons of fun! We will have many outdoor tables with games and prizes, a face painting station, popcorn, snow cones, hot dogs, chips, and more!!! Special Friends Day & Market (previously Grandparents Day)
Join us as we celebrate our Grandparents and Special Friends in this annual event. Come see the students work, teachers, and classrooms. You will also be able to purchase some small gifts from our Wings Store to support meaningful paid employment for our adults with neurological differences.
Annual Valentine's Party
Join us in the Monarch Center for the Annual Valentine’s Party Event for high school seniors and adult learners! There will be music, photos, games, cookie decorating, pizza, and more. Dress to impress! Cost is only $20 in advance or at the door. Must have an emergency contact form on file to attend. EMERGE Winter Party
EMERGE (Monarch’s Adult Community) has a social outing each month. For December we are having our Ugly Sweater Winter Party from 6-8pm at the Colleen 2 Monarch House. Winter Luncheon Soiree (students serve parents)
Join us as our students and culinary enterprise members transform the Monarch Center into a sophisticated luncheon room. This afternoon event will allow our culinary learners to serve parents, friends, and community members to practice their restaurant skills.

Steel Magnolia Moms Holiday Market
Who doesn’t love shopping for a good cause? Our annual Steel Magnolia Moms Holiday Market supports local vendors while supporting our mission. With over 50 vendors, amazing raffle prizes, artisan food and a signature cocktail, this is the event you don’t want to miss! Santa is coming 11:00-2:00 and 3:00-5:00, so bring the kids too!

Autism Awareness and Art Reception
Special invitation only event hosted in The Monarch Center. Come have hors d'oeuvres and drinks while seeing art from the Museum of Fine Arts Glassell exhibit Autism and Art on display April 4-29.
Disney Trip (TS and High school seniors)
Donate to our learners as they travel to Orlando, Florida to see Mickey & Friends! Proceeds will help us purchase, t-shirts, mickey ears, autograph books, and much more! Watch for a coin drive group coming out to visit during carpool at Monarch!
Monkeytail Bar & Cantina Happy Hour
Come join us at Monkey’s Tail Bar & Cantina 5802 Fulton St, Houston, TX 77009 for tropical cocktails plus easy-going grub like burgers, hot dogs, & pizza in a funky & modern bar. All proceeds from the event will go to support our school.
Spring Soiree
April 28th, 2023 from 6pm - 8pm. Please join us for a beautiful dinner to be produced and served by the Culinary Enterprise at The Monarch School. The 3-course meal will include a Caesar Salad in a Handmade Parmesan Basket, Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breast over Angel hair Pasta with Beurre Blanc sauce, follow by a petite sweet dessert trio.
